David Lee Hada
February 9, 1939 - February 23, 2010

Biography

David Lee, son of Jessie Mae (Lewis) and Bert Hada was born in Alva on February 9, 1939. He passed away at his home on the 23rd of February, 2010 at the age of 71 years and 14 days.
He attended the Alva school system. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad in Waynoka and then at the Alva Phillips 66 Station.
David and Nancy were married at the Cherokee First Baptist Church parsonage by Reverend L.O. McCracken. To their marriage a daughter, Bonny Lynn, was born.
Following their marriage the made their home in Alva and David continued to work at the Phillips 66 Station. In 1960 they moved to Cherokee and opened the Phillips 66 Station. He worked for the Alfalfa County ASC office. From 1984 until 2007 he worked for the Wharton Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Hada was a member of the Cherokee First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Suezette Eckels and two brothers, Alfred and Gilbert.
David is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; a daughter and her husband, Bonny Lynn and William Michael; two sisters, Lillie Mae Hada, of Enid and Jessie Mae Hart of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a brother and his wife, Harold and Connie, of Alva. A number of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
